  27. WESTBORO, Mass., Nov. 12, 1991 -- Banyan Systems and Intelligent
  28. Electronics have entered into a channel partner agreement which
  29. establishes Intelligent Electronics as a Banyan Value Added
  30. Reseller.

  32. According to the agreement, selected Intelligent Electronics
  33. resellers will market, sell, service, and support Banyan products,
  34. including the VINES distributed network operating system. As a
  35. result, Intelligent Electronics provides Banyan the opportunity to
  36. significantly expand its distribution channel.

  38. Individual Intelligent Electronics franchisees that qualify will
  39. receive Banyan sales and service authorization. The application and
  40. approval process requires Intelligent's franchisees to meet the
  41. same authorization criteria as other Banyan resellers.

  44. Intelligent Electronics and their quality distribution channel,"
  45. said Greg Reyes, Banyan Vice President, North American Field
  46. Operations and Corporate Support. "In particular, their new

  49. strategy of introducing these customers to Banyan's enterprise-wide
  50. network solutions."
